NOTICE is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Hamilton Centre for Civic Inclusion (HCCI) is called for and will be held at the HCCI Offices, 140 King Street East, Unit 20, in Hamilton ON, on Wednesday, the 24th day of October, 2018, at 6:00 pm (EDT) for the following purposes:
1. To receive the financial statements and Annual Report of HCCI for the financial year ended March 30, 2018.
2. To elect Directors of the HCCI Governing Council.
3. To appoint the Auditor of HCCI for the ensuing year.
4. To transact such other business as may properly be brought before the meeting.

HCCI will also officially welcome its new Interim Executive Director:
MATTHEW GREEN (Outgoing City Councillor for Ward 3 in Hamilton)
Matthew will share his vision for community leadership and will discuss how we will implement HCCI’s long-term strategic plan for building a welcoming and inclusive community in Hamilton. First elected in 2014 in Ward 3 (Hamilton Centre) as Hamilton’s first Black City Councillor, Matthew joins HCCI at a pivotal time.
Formed in 2006, HCCI is a non-profit organization working to create a united community that respects diversity, practices equity, and speaks out against discrimination and hate. Among its many community programs, HCCI houses and supports the Hamilton Anti-Racism Resource Centre (HARRC) at its downtown location through its collaborative partnership with McMaster University and the City of Hamilton.
