Hamilton Centre for Civic Inclusion (HCCI) and Hamilton Immigration Partnership Council (HIPC) have partnered with Ontario Council of Agencies Serving Immigrants (OCASI) to launch #HamiltonForAll, a public awareness campaign that celebrates diversity and promotes Hamilton’s vision to be a Hamilton For All.
Join us for a #HamiltonForAll pre-launch kick-off on Canada day at HIPC’s Canadian Multicultural Exchange Station.
#HamiltoForAll aims at opening minds and encouraging Hamiltonians to stand up against prejudice, exclusion and discrimination based on ethnicity, race, religion, country of origin, disability, sexual orientation or other differences. The initiative builds on OCASI’s #TorontoForAll and #AjaxForAll campaigns that have addressed racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia and other issues.
The campaign will launch in the Fall of 2017 with its first phase that aims at addressing misconceptions and stereotypes about immigrants and refugees.
#HamiltonForAll is one of the 43 projects supported by Hamilton Community Foundation through Canada 150 community grant.
