HCCI Municipal Election Snapshot

The Hamilton Centre for Civic Inclusion launched a Community Based survey in August of 2022. The survey intended to garner community feedback on how effective the Municipal government of Hamilton has been in addressing the key issues that are important to Hamiltonians.

Following the release of the survey, we promoted responses to receive across our social media platforms and have encouraged other Hamilton-based community organizations to share the survey within their network(s). After closing the survey on October 10th, 2022, we analyzed the responses and put together a brief report outlining the data received and included various statements as provided by the respondents of the survey.

Ahead of the municipal Election on Monday, October 24th, 2022, we urge Hamiltonians to take the time out of their day to exercise their right to vote. To view the location of a nearby polling station please click here.
